Basic Pricing

Here are some basic rates for tracking at Blue Cave Studios. We are pretty flexible when it comes to pricing, so give us a call and we’ll talk.

Basic Tracking/Editing/Mixing

basic rate is $40/hour for all studio time
tracking begins at an agreed upon time
small load-ins are not put on the clock, but you should plan to arrive early enough to start on time
ending time is at an agreed upon time – studio time includes back up and creation of any audio or data disks

Bulk Discount Rate

Full CD Rates

If you plan to record a full CD at Blue Cave Studios we can work out a rate that is not based on the hourly rate, but is instead a package rate – one price.
I try to get a sense of the overall project and then give a discount based on how much time I think it will really take me to do the project.
I then charge a flat, discounted fee so you don’t have to look at the clock while we’re trying to make music.
1/2 is due at the contract signing and 1/2 when finished. Payment plans can be worked out -
